Out Plane Raises Funding, Backed by Maza Ventures

Coding agents do their best work with the permissions turned off, and that should never happen on your laptop. Out Plane has raised funding, backed by Maza Ventures and an angel investor, to give every agent an isolated machine in the cloud and run what it builds right beside it.

Agents need a sandbox, not your laptop

With permission to run any command, an agent finishes in minutes what takes an hour when every step waits for a yes. On a laptop, each of those commands runs next to your SSH keys, your browser sessions and every other repository you have. So teams either approve every step by hand or take the risk.

And when the work is done, it still has to leave for somewhere else to run: one service to deploy it, another for the database, a third for files. Someone on the team ends up as the glue.

Isolated machines for agents, production right beside them

Hangars are isolated cloud machines for your team's coding agents. An agent works there, not on your laptop, as an unprivileged user on a network walled off from every other team. It can run with full permissions without reaching your files, your keys or anyone else's work.

Pick a GitHub repository and it is on the disk, with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent installed on the first start. The whole team shares the same terminal, the machine keeps working after you close your laptop, and it pauses itself once it sits idle.

Once its CLI is signed in, an agent ships what it builds from the same place. Applications deploy from a GitHub repository or a prebuilt image, with custom domains, logs and metrics. Data goes into managed PostgreSQL, and files into Buckets, our S3 compatible storage. And Otto, an agent in the console now in preview, reads production for you and proposes changes that wait for your approval.
